Why MakeTeams exists

The internet is flooded with polarized, emotionally charged content — each side trying to win a propaganda war with disinformation. Most of what you scroll past is designed to persuade, not inform.

MakeTeams was created in response to that. Instead of telling you what to believe, it brings competing perspectives together in one place — with sources attached — so you can understand the conflict, examine the reasoning, and think critically before forming your own conclusions.

Every conflict page is organized to answer the questions that actually matter:

  • Who is involved? — the sides and the actors behind them
  • Why are they in conflict? — the claims and reasoning on each side
  • How could it affect my daily life? — what is at stake for you
  • What evidence and sources support each perspective? — source-backed events and citations
The goal is not to declare a winner — it is to make complex issues easier to understand and evaluate critically.

Why it matters

Most people don't have hours to read dozens of articles from different outlets. MakeTeams compresses that process into a structured comparison while still exposing the underlying sources — reducing the cost of becoming informed.

AI organizes and analyzes the material. It does not determine factual truth. Every perspective is attributed to a named analytical persona, and every claim stays close to its source, so you can always check the reasoning yourself.

What we are not

MakeTeams is not:

  • a news outlet
  • a fact-checking authority
  • a platform that decides who is right
  • a voting or popularity contest
  • a social media feed optimized for engagement
  • a system for determining truth or consensus

Narratives are AI-generated interpretations from distinct analytical perspectives, not official positions of MakeTeams.

Our responsibility

The platform does not censor ideas — it removes content that calls for violence, targets real individuals or groups for harm, or enables real-world coordination. Moderation is behavior-based, not belief-based.
